Launched the skiff at the break of dawn, 
baited up and ready to go...

It was a blast catching this king salmon,
he's only about 20 pounds but was quite the fighter...

Bright and beautiful...

Heading in at 9:30 a.m....

Hungry bald eagles...

We firing up the grill the following day, 
while hubby Max was busy creating a new recipe...

a blissful 75 degrees...

were out of this world...

A gentle breeze was blowing,
making this the perfect evening...

We all felt the jolt when a loud blast took place
at the nearby City and Borough Rock Quarry:
Here are the plumes rising shortly thereafter...
