February 21, 2015: Clam digging Juneau Alaska Style...

February 21, 2015:

Morning clam digging with family in
Juneau, Alaska.

(I can't believe I forgot my big camera,
although my iPhone stepped-up-to-the-plate rather nicely today)...

This heavy fog during the drive to the harbor
had us a bit worried about the upcoming boat ride...

Yes, the fog was incredibly dense...

Thank God the fog began to lift soon after our arrival...

Loading Sis Nadine and the pup into the dingy...

We made it to shore...

Husband Max was the first to start digging...

Low-flying geese in front of brother Alan's boat...

Husband Max and brother Alan...

Brother Steve, Amberly and Abby the other pup arriving onshore...

And, a river runs through it...

Sis Nadine found her 'honey hole'...

We all were lucky clam digging,
but I'm also super stoked with these 3 ginormous cockles...

Ewe...

Brother Alan's boat on the left with Steve's in the center,
as viewed from the dingy we're in...

Nearing the harbor after our fantastic outing...

A successful and fun-filled clam digging adventure,
that's for sure...

May 10, 2013: Springtime is Slow to Arrive in Juneau, Alaska...

May 10, 2013:

The temperature actually reached a delightful 74 degrees
in Juneau, Alaska today...

March 6, 2013: View of the sun setting from Juneau-Douglas Bridge (Juneau, Alaska)...

March 6, 2013:

A stupendous view crossing Juneau-Douglas Bridge
of Gastineau Channel
while the sun was setting in Juneau, Alaska
when heading to the Island Pub to enjoy dinner with friends...

Late-October 2012: Beautiful Yakutat, Alaska...

Late-October 2012:

A scenic and absolutely beautiful capture of photographs
by my husband when he recently traveled
to my hometown of Yakutat, Alaska...

Several captures of a cow moose
along the edge of the forest...

Early morning sunrise
at Situk River...

Brown bears on an early morning stroll
at the end of the Dangerous River Bridge...

Harlequin as viewed from
the 30-Mile Bridge...

Headed out fishing
and were lucky to land this nice white king salmon...

My brother Kevin
skippering brother Larry's boat...

Beautiful capture of the mountain range
with the stately Mt. St. Elias to the left...
