An amazing and unexpected evening,
I shot this photo at 10:15 p.m.
while it was quite daylight and a light misty rain was falling...

Sharing a few photos taken today in my Juneau Alaska front yard,
it's a super early spring this year!

A beautiful, sunny day here in Juneau, Alaska,
and it's even going to be more fantastic as I
pick one of my fully ripened indoor Meyer Lemons that's
a whoppin' 3" long and 2-1/4" wide...

The large one on the left is the Meyer Lemon I'll be picking.
The other two will remain on the vine
until fully ripened in a few weeks...

It's fairly impressive to watch
these professional tree cutters today in action removing
a couple of rather large trees in the

rearranging fencing, and so on - darn it anyways..

November 24, 2011 on Thanksgiving Day evening:

A baby Porcupine came to visit...

We drove into our yard and were surprised to find this baby porcupine
in the driveway at about 9:00 p.m.
It got scared and ran to hide from us in the 6' tall hedge tree
under the eave of the house in the front yard...poor thing!

We left it alone after my husband captured this photograph,
and it ran off shortly thereafter ~

What a treat, and a cutie ;)

"You can't see me..."
October 18, 2011:
