June 6, 2012:

Our sweet niece came to visit, so my husband and I gave her
a quick tour of Juneau, Alaska yesterday evening ~ What fun!!

She had never visited the
Local 262 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Hall where my husband
is the Business Manager for Southeast Alaska either...
Ground floor houses the union offices, a conference room, and two bays -
the second story contains the training center, a 2-bdrm. apartment,
and a bunkhouse for traveling apprentices/journeymen...
The much-used shop while training apprentices, which has three bays, 
and also houses several individual welding stations...
Our niece's tour is over, although she'll be back
another day when we'll continue showing her the
sights of Juneau, Alaska...

2010 to 2011: MY SON'S JOURNEY WHILE WORKING IN NOME, ALASKA...

He's been working as a Journeyman Pipefitter
while overseeing several Apprentices on the new
Norton Sound Regional Hospital
currently being constructed in
Nome, Alaska...
