Our sweet niece came to visit, so my husband and I gave her
a quick tour of Juneau, Alaska yesterday evening ~ What fun!!

Red Dog Mercantile... |
A Downtown Juneau apartment building... |
Infamous Red Dog Saloon... |
Alaskan Brewing Company (their downtown outlet store)... |
Front and back are made out of Alaskan Brewing Company beer bottle caps, which is sleeveless and worn by slipping it over the head (display only, not for sale)... |
Photograph from the second floor of a first floor display... |
A unique ship sculpture created with drift wood, an Alaskan Brewing Company beer bottle, moss, and metal... |
Walking along Franklin Street on a mission for sweet treats... |
My niece had to purchase chocolate covered gummy bears and we couldn't pass up a brick of the very tasty 'Mendenhall Mudd'... |
Another iconic bar called the Lucky Lady in the foreground, with the Marine View Building in the background... |
A view up Franklin Street... |
Our niece wanted to see 'in-person' our commercial fishing boat the F/V Chelsey, as she had only viewed it in photographs... |
Scenic Harris Boat Harbor... |
She had never visited the Local 262 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Hall where my husband is the Business Manager for Southeast Alaska either... |
Ground floor houses the union offices, a conference room, and two bays - the second story contains the training center, a 2-bdrm. apartment, and a bunkhouse for traveling apprentices/journeymen... |
The much-used shop while training apprentices, which has three bays, and also houses several individual welding stations... |
Our niece's tour is over, although she'll be back
another day when we'll continue showing her the
sights of Juneau, Alaska...
