Commercial power trolling for King Salmon and Coho in
the outside waters of Southeast Alaska...

Blue Shark are not a fishermen's friend by any means,
as Captain Max has lost many half-eaten-salmon
when they've shown up in instances such as this reigning havoc... |

Captain Max jumped in the pit and brought up the lines
just in time, so no King Salmon or Coho were
lost to that particular Blue Shark this time around... |

The thick, dense fog rolled in quite fast
and so did the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) helicopter... |

hovered over the F/V Chelsey for some time
before continuing on... |

finally started to break... |

Heavy storm conditions minutes away
so the fleet quickly headed to safe harbor to ride out it out
for the night... |

Headed to Hoonah to offload the catch,
chow down on a nice steak dinner,
and down a few Alaskan Amber... |

Scott was determined to take part in the
infamous Icy Strait Point ZipRider (world's largest zipline) as they promise
a great tour: 5,300' long, 1,300' vertical drop,
60 mph maximum speed, and 300' at the highest point from the ground
for a 1.5 minute ride time, with 6 side-by-side cables -
although it was to no avail
because they were not operating on that particular day... |
