November 24, 2011: A BABY PORCUPINE CAME TO VISIT...

November 24, 2011 on Thanksgiving Day evening:

We drove into our yard and were surprised to find this baby porcupine in the driveway at about 9:00 p.m.  


It got scared and ran to hide from us in the 6' tall hedge tree under the eave of the house in the front yard...poor thing!   We left it alone after my husband captured this photograph, and it ran off shortly thereafter...

What a treat, and a cutie ;)

My husband Max just returned from Anchorage, Alaska 
earlier this afternoon after taking photographs 
of these moose this morning near Raspberry Road...

One of the cows 
heading off into the brush...

One of the other cows... 

Two cows taking refuge in this yard from the bull... 

Zeroing in on his cow... 

He hears the cows in the brush... 

This bull had only one thing on his mind, 
and when Max came around the corner this bull 
was chasing three cows out of the ditch and onto the highway... 

Ten feet away when Max's traveling Apprentice Coordinator 
was yelling for him to get back in the car
- This bull is looking a Max because he was grunting at it...

September 6, 2010: Miss Chelsey at 2 years and 3 months old...

September 6, 2010:

Our darling Lil' Miss Chelsey who is a 11.5 lb. maltepoo
 at 2 years and 3 months old...

I just finished grooming her, and she loves to pose
 when I call her a 'pretty girl' and say she's 'cute'. 

Her eyes start to get red
indicating that it's time for bed, "Night all"
