On October 5, 2010, this sunset broke through billowy clouds just for a few minutes during a fall storm a couple of days ago, it was still raining out at the time, and the southeast winds were gusting up to 55 miles per hour throughout the day...
It was short-lived, as the storm returned within minutes
and the weather was once again "raining sideways,"
which is typical for Southeast Alaska this time of year...

Even though this sunset only lasted a couple of minutes...sometimes that's all we need to "put a lil' kick in our step"...;-)
