April 29, 2012: Rainy Day Beauty Found in Juneau, Alaska...

April 29, 2012:

Yes, even in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska

we can find beauty on this blustery spring day in Juneau
~ believe it or not this is when the 'greenery' starts to appear...

The water droplets are like diamonds
on the boughs of the evergreen trees
during a gentle breeze after a recent downpour...

Unexpected freshly fallen snow
as viewed through the clouds
on the mountain to the north this spring day...

May 16, 2011: SIGNS OF SUMMER...

The plants in my front yard and garden area
are coming to life!
What a wonderful time of year...
