MAY 2017:
A fun-filled 9-day vacation in my hometown of Yakutat Alaska
with my husband and Lil' Miss Chelsey,
and during the last several days
we happily welcomed the arrival of
his sister and her husband,
including his brother and girlfriend...

| We spent the fist 5 days, as usual, mostly working on improvements to our home away from home... |

| Our treasured addition of my two brothers carvings: 1) Center killerwhale is yellow cedar inlaid with abalone and ivory was carved by my bother Master Carver Fred Bemis in 1996, and 2) Outside two carvings of the lovebirds, left: eagle, right: raven, were carved by my other brother John Dale Firestack in 1994... |

| You hear the doves quite often throughout the day, although this was the first one to venture into the yard below the deck the morning we were to depart... |
