I captured the following photographs this beautiful fall morning while in my front yard on October 24, 2010 here in Juneau, Alaska...it was gusting somewhat off and on so I figured I'd best take a few pics of Max's "pride and joy" ~ his maple tree ~ that he and a friend planted several years ago in the front yard...its changing colors are spectacular to watch each year...
The following six photographs were captured at the same time
- It's just amazing the beauty and splendor
that fall weather brings to us on the rare
'nice days' we experience here in Juneau, Alaska...
Lucky I did so because as of today only a few sporadic leaves remain after the 50+ mph gusts we are experiencing right now (10-29-10) - Bye~bye until next year... |

It's a sure sign of the beginnings of winter when the maple tree leaves fall...snow will be forthcoming very soon ~ it's inevitably in the air...
